The M.Sc. in Data Science course of MGM University has 20 seats for candidates from Kerala, while 4 seats are added to the All India Quota, representing candidates from other states and Union Territories from outside Kerala, and 4 more seats from the International Quota. Finally, 1 seat comes under the quota for Arts/Sports. Thus, 29 students in total can be accommodated there. It is possible to do B.Sc. (Computer Science) after completing 12th standard with Biology (PCB streams). However, most of the universities prefer students with Mathematics in their 10+2 due to the mathematical and logical reasoning oriented components included in most programs of computer science. Some of the universities may allow students from the PCB stream to take B.Sc. in Computer Science but may require them to take additional mathematics units. Placement:- The salary of B.Sc as of 2023-24 by batch, median salary is INR 2.4 lakh and maximum is INR 3.4 lakh per month. They provide best placement for their students, there are many companies which come to hire the students.
