BSc Computer Science scope in India is decent. Given that you have good skills and relevant experience/ projects in your resume. You can apply for roles like - Software engineer, Web developer, Data scientist, Database, Cybersecurity analyst, Data analyst etc. If you have a good track of research, thesis, etc. then you have scope in research & academia as well. Though a few places might prefer a pure tech degree, there are still ample companies hiring BSc CS graduates.

While NIT Sikkim has lower fees (INR 5.4 Lakhs), IIIT Kota provides higher packages (avg. INR 11-13 LPA vs INR 8.5 LPA). IIIT Kota's focus on specialised IT curricula often gives its graduates an edge in software industry placements.

Hi.All companies have a CGPA cutoff when they come to college placements and internships. Most companies keep a cutoff of ≥7. A score above 8.5–9.0 is preferred for top-tier companies.

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students must possess a blend of foundational and modern technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C+), Data Structures and Algorithms, Database Management (SQL), Operating Systems, and Networking, Knowledge of Cloud Computing, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Version Control (Git) etc.

Thanks
