Admission to B.Sc. programs is determined by the following selection process:

• Applicants must be eligible and submit their applications using the common application form of Thapar Institute.
• After that, admission is decided upon by merit and prepared using the following weighting:
  40% of the marks for PCM/PCB in Class 12.
  Scores on the TIET Law School Admission Test (LSAT) are given 40% weight.
  The overall academic profile is given 20% weight.
• Regarding the required minimum SAT score, TIET-LS cutoff or minimum score is 1260 for SAT India exams.
• On the other hand, if you took the SAT and scored well, that will undoubtedly improve your overall academic record. Gaining admission to Thapar LS for a B.Sc. programme can be facilitated by an estimated SAT score of 1200+.

Entrance exams accepted by the college are -

1. The primary exam for admission to the liberal arts and sciences programs at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is the LSAT, also known as the Thapar School Admission Test. It is divided into two sections: Verbal Ability (VA) and Quantitative Ability (QA). 40% of the score is based on the LSAT.
2. JEE Main: Candidates may submit their Paper 1 scores at the time of application, and they will be accepted. A strong JEE Main percentile can improve a candidate's overall merit.
3. SAT-Applicants' SAT results may also be taken into account when determining admission.
4. Additional State or National Level Entrance Exams: Applicants for relevant programs may also submit test results for exams such as UPSEE, IPMAT, CLAT, NCHMCT JEE, etc. for consideration toward admission requirements.
   

The cost for undergraduate  courses at Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is as -

       The annual tuition for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme is INR 3,02,500.

• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) English: The annual tuition fee is INR 1,65,000.
• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Economics: The annual tuition fee is INR 1,65,000.
• B.Sc. with honors The annual tuition for mathematics is INR 1,65,000.
