Food Science & Technology is the branch of applied Science that deals with the manufacturing, processing, treatment, preservation, and distribution of food. Food Science is the study of optimizing the agricultural output, while food technology is the implementation of those improvements. There are many job roles within the food industry for graduates, i.e., R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Sales & Marketing, etc.

It is a good college for studies but not in terms of placements.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college were Amarai, Milky Mist, Milma, etc. Roles offered were technical superintendent, quality analyst, etc. About 10% of the students got internships, and internships are mandatory here.

Gujarat Forensic Science University is a 100% placement offering college as compared to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University . The highest package and median package offered during placements 2023 stood at 67 Lakhs per annum and 13 Lakhs per annum. A total of over 115 students were placed at BBAU and the median package that was offered was 5.70 Lacs per annum and the highest package stood at 12 Lacs per annum.
Some of the popular recruiters placed at GSFU are Microsoft, GMR, Qualcomm, Bank of America, PwC etc. Some of the popular recruiters placed at BBAU are HCL, Byju's, Edulyt, DICCI, Lulu Mall etc.

National Forensic Science University Gandhinagar, is a government international University in the capital of Gujrat. The university offes MBA in various specialisations. Also the students are provided with placement opportunities with attarctive packages. Overall, it is a good University for MBA.

Mahatma Gandhi Central University has three CUET Counseling session in 2023. The Undergraduate courses admissions in Mahatma Gandhi Central University requires students to qualify 10+2 exams in relevant stream with a minimum aggregate score of 50%marks in aggregate from a government recognised borad. Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) is considered to give better placements than Indrashil University).
The Placement Rate in CHARUSAT IS approximately around 80-90% whereas in Indrashil Univeristy the placement rate is: 60-70%
CHARUSAT offers an average salary of 5 to 6 lpa. On the other hand Indrashil University offers the low placement compared to CHARUSAT. It offer an average salary around 4 to 4.5 LPA.

Charotar University of Science and Technology is the best university in Gujarat whereas University of Indrashil University is one of the best universities in Ahmedabad.
CHARUSAT was established in 2000 and is accredited by NAAC. This university is also approved by AICTE and is A grade. They accepted national exam such as JEE Main/ GATE / GPAT/CMAT/ NET and the state exam ie GUJCET. 100% placement is provided with a decent salary package.
Indrashil University is a privately owned and established in 2017 through the Gujarat Private Universities Act 2017 and is recognised by UGC. It offers100% placement with an internship of 10 months
