Students enrolled in the MSc programmes are not provided with any assistantship or scholarship from within the Institute. But, candidates enrolled in the MSc programmes can pursue external funding agencies providing assistantships or scholarships. Some of the scholarships for which candidates can apply are INSPIRE scholarship and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana. These scholarships are offered by the government.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For COMEDK Round 2 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 52711 and closing rank was 62907 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Electronics & Communication Engineering in Akshaya Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the COMEDK entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The Computer Science course at Caltech has consistently demonstrated its excellence in recent years according to THE rankings. In 2021 the University was in 25 positions. Many facilities are there like hostels for boys and girls, a library, sports indoor and outdoor, a cafeteria etc.
