In the 'Agriculture and Allied Sectors' category, the institute's ranks have descended when evaluated against previous year's ranking. In 2025, GBPUAT fell 1 rank to #9 rank in the 'Agriculture and Allied Sectors' category by the NIRF ranking.

CUET UG exam structure for Science examination is similar to other streams subject. NTA prescribes the common exam pattern for CUET subjects. As per the notification, each CUET subject will follow below structure:

• Number of questions: 50 Multiple Choice Questions
• Optional questions: Not provided
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Marking for correct answer: 5 marks
• Negative marking: -1 mark

Candidates have to appear for number of subjects chosen for CUET exam. Students can opt for maximum five CUET subjects. Candidates must have selected the CUET subjects based on the course criteria they desire to pursue. CUET UG syllabus is similar to class 12 NCERT curriculum. Candidates preparing for exam must focus on NCERT syllabus and previous year question papers to ace the examination.

National Testing Agency conducts CUET UG exam for 37 subjects across Science, Commerce and Arts streams. CUET UG 2026 is scheduled to be held between May 11 and May 31, 2026. Candidates who have opted for CUET subjects as per B.Com hons. course criteria can check their CUET subject wise exam date 2026 on release of intimation slips.

It's simple. Both are interrelated fields, but serve different purposes. Criminology reads criminals' psychology, analyzes crime patterns, and works on prevention. 

Forensic Science, on the other hand, is all about collecting evidence from a crime scene, test them for new findings to help officials solve the case.

Neither is better nor bad. Both options are available because they cater to different types of studies and career options. A BA in Criminology will help you gain skills related to social analysis. For example, you'll be able to determine why the crime was committed. Or, human behaviour, legal systems, etc.

A BSc in Criminology, on the other hand, will give you practical skills to find evidence from the crime scene, work in forensic labs, assist researchers, etc.

Criminology Courses

Paramedical Courses primarily train individuals to provide emergency, pre-hospital medical services and technical support in hospitals. They are often Diploma or certificate courses.

Examples are -

• Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
• OT technicians
• Lab assistants 

But Allied Health Science courses are a different and wider category which involve focused care to support doctors in diagnostics, treatment aalso and patient recovery. 

Examples are -

• Physiotherapy
• Radiology
• Nutritionists
• Cardiac care technicians   

There are no prescribed marks for CUET passing criteria. Once candidate has appeared for the exam, candidates must apply for CUET counselling on official website of desired university. Based on counselling applications and CUET score, accepting universities will release the CUET cutoffs. Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for admission to desired undergraduate program.

CUET UG exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test Mode. The examination is scheduled in multiple slots depending on the number of registrations for CUET. In this mode of examination, candidates are required to appear for exam online and answer the questions on deskptop with the help of mouse.
