JEST exam is at an MSc or advanced BSc level and therefore candidates need to focus on the fundamental concepts in Physics and Computer Science, practice past question papers, and refer to standard textbooks, make their own preparation strategy along with mock tests and JEST Previous year question papers.

Yes, the Bioengineering school offers a two-year MSc programme in Industrial Biotechnology. The PG course is offered in Bioinformatics specialisation as well. Admission is granted on a merit-basis. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official website to register and apply.

MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research offers admission to the MSc course on a merit-basis. Hence, for admission, it is necessary that the aspirant fulfils the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates with a BSc degree passed with at least 50% aggregate can apply. However, the aspirants can also contact the admission office to enquire about the direct admission under management quota (if available).

 For this course you need a Background in life sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Zoology, or allied fields.  Institutions accept students from non-life sciences backgrounds if they have relevant experience or additional qualifications. People from fields like Pharmacy or Biomedical Engineering may need to take bridge courses to meet eligibility requirements.
