For General Category, cutoff remains at 55 percentile. Meanwhile, reserved categories like SC and ST have their cutoffs ranging from 30 to 40 percentile. OBC, NCL, PWD, and Women Candidates have between 45 to 50 percentiles.

The university uses the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for admissions although the precise cutoff ranks for this diploma program are not made public. No, it is not mandatory for you to study Science in Class 12 if you aim to study Food & Nutrition courses from colleges in Kolkata. Students must simply clear their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in order to be eligible for Food & Nutrition courses.
However, most students are selected into colleges based on merit or through scores in entrance exams.
