NSHM Institute of Health Sciences Kolkata offers entrance-based admission to all its courses. Applicants seeking admission to any of these courses must appear for various entrance exams which includes MAKAUT CET, ENPAT, PGECET, WBJEE and other. Yes, candidates with a BTech degree in Bioengineering from MIT BIO can apply for government jobs. The graduates can get in research positions and roles in PSUs as well. Candidates can also take the UPSC and SSC for civil service roles. However, the candidates selection and package is dependent on the job posting authority and the job role. To get the job, candidates also have to pass the selection rounds of the job posting department.

Both of these institutes provide BTech in Bioengineering/Biotechnology course specialisations. Candidates getting confused about which institute to get in can calculate return on investment.
