Hospitality Management is the study of the hospitality industry. A degree in the subject may be awarded either by a university college dedicated to the studies of hospitality management or a business school with a relevant department. Degrees in hospitality management may also be referred to as hotel management, hotel and tourism management, or hotel administration. Degrees conferred in this academic field include BA, Bachelor of Business Administration, BS, MS, MBA, and PhD. Hospitality management covers hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, amusement parks, destination marketing organizations, convention centers, and country clubs. BA and BSc courses are run on similar lines but what are more important is your career plans including higher studies and the choice of a university.

If you have a knack for science and math, either mechanical engineering or computer programming could satisfy you on the job. But beyond their technical bent, the two are quite different. Mechanical engineers invent new products and mainly deals with machines, manufacturing and automobile sector. While in CSE you deal with coading, programming and software developments.So its you who can decide what could be best bet for you. Just study hard and try to get in to any of the reputed engineering college as this is what going to provide you better placement opportunities Try to get in to any of the IITs & NITs and in private ones you can go for colleges like UPES, BITs, VIT, UTM Shillong (for CSE), DTU etc.
