Hi, VIPS tries to get more and more companies every year, so that every student gets placed. The college even gets internships for students doing BCA and BJMC Law and BJMC. Placements are rather better, though even here most students choose to look for a job themselves. Companies that visit the campus are Airtel, NDTV, Zee, Mid-day for journalism students. The college doesn't own its own hostel which is one drawback but there surely are PGs/Flats (private) at a stone throw distance from the campus. As I said earlier that the region outside college is less safe, it all depends on you whether to go for PGs or not. Students from outer Del

After editing and proofreading course, you can become an editor/proofreader/writer/ book publisher/ book writer/ website content writer/ content editor, etc. The world has now been digitalized, so the scope of editor and proof-readers have increased both in India as well as abroad. But, the job of an editor and proofreaders is quite different. An editor has to check the Writing style, sentence formation, add or delete words/sentences/ paragraphs whenever required. Whereas proof readers check grammar, punctuation, spelling and other necessary elements of a content. One may join a newspaper agency, magazine, publishing company, or become

If you want a career as an actor or a model, this course can help you. After completing your course, you can become an actor, a model, a screenplay writer, a theater artist, an anchor, or a TV host, etc. You may also proceed with a career in Radio as RJ, script writer, recording artist. Basically these courses open up a door into the world of glam, where you can only succeed if you own a talent along with a degree/ certificate. You don't have things to mug up and write but to observe and adapt. An actor can't be successful by just speaking the dialogues provided to him/her by a scriptwriter, but by speaking them with apt feelings and e

Do read my answer to the question 'How to Be a VJ and what salary to expect?'.
https://ask.shiksha.com/how-can-i-become-a-video-jockey-vj-what-starting-salary-can-i-expect-qna-4393281?referenceEntityId=4396513
The skills needed are somehow identical as both relate to the camera. The VJ job is informal and carries some casual aspect of presentation whereas, a news presenter is to be a formal, disciplined, strong and firm in communication, balanced in opinion as well as highly informed about topics of politics, social matters, education, economics and others. Basically, general awareness is needed. Formal mass media education, electronic m

This question needs two submissions from the student's side:
1. what are the academic or educational credentials of the person?
2. Based on what skills, expertise, experience and appearance does the aspiring video jockey wants to claim the job?
Answer by assuming that the person is having some substantial education like graduation or something which makes him or her a literate person. I shall not recommend the observation that even an illiterate person can become an VJ. So proper education, excellent language skills in the targeted or demanded language, fluency in speaking, sense of humor and courtesy, improvisation in the live speech,

If by higher studies you mean Post Graduation then you may opt for job opportunities. If you mean stone certificate course or a Diploma just after school then you should think of higher studies to do a specialisation course.

In these fields, there is a very good career and the plus point is Master's in these fields. As journalism and mass communication are very active nowadays, so students can apply in any journalist firm or can apply in any media works. As it also provides a good paid job in big cities like Mumbai and Delhi. And a student can also become a journalist by working in a good journalist firm. As per my preference, for a better career, a student have to apply in any of the journalistic firm or any media company.

Bachelor in Mass Communication is the Foundation Degree in India because our Schools do not have this domain as a Specialisation. Media Studies or some other related subject is just part of the curriculum of Humanities and Arts in Senior Secondary and doesn't have major role. Hence, B.A. Remains a less preferred degree for getting a job quickly.

Having said this, I must clarify that B.A. Mass Communication is a good option to make a career in Media. After all, one has to somewhere start learning where the career is to be taken. B.A. Mass Communication done from average institutions in India doesn't lead to a good career possibility UNLE

Editing and Proof Reading of Language Content is related to Office Communication and do have jobs with the Government. However, this must be noted and should be known before an answer is supplied to this question, whether one is doing a Degree in the subject or merely a Diploma. Company Secretary and Office Secretary also need the skills taught in the purview of the course mentioned. This must be made clear that Government Jobs do not have this specific requirement but have this as one of the things needed in certain profiles. There are more jobs of SSC Clerk Grade and other Junior Staff or Clerk level jobs that one can access having t
