The B.E./B.Tech application process for Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering & Technology (SRMIET), Ambala, requires you to provide originals and two self-attested photocopies of several important documents: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets & certificates, JEE Main or HSTES exam scorecards, transfer & migration certificates, character certificate, passport size photographs and an IDs (ie: Aadhaar). If you are applying for reservations/special quotas address for the appropriate caste or domicile certificates.

Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering and Technology offers BTech, MBA, MTech, MCA, and BCA courses. Admission to each course except the BTech course is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification. Admissions to BTech courses are based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main exam, followed by the JOSAA/ HSTES counseling. Technically, you can get direct admission to Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering & Technology (SRMIET, Ambala), however, this is backdoor to admission, not part of the usual counselling process:
Most of the seats are filled on the basis of the JEE Main exam or HSTES ranks by HSTES counselling. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have 10+2 (PCM) and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories).

Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering & Technology (SRMIET), Ambala does not typically offer full scholarships to all. They may have fee concessions, and scholarships for meritorious and economically weaker students, but the full waiver of tution fee is very rare and usually restricted to a few individuals having full scholarship like in cases of exceptional performance or special categories of students. The campus at SRMIET, Ambala provides extensive facilities including separate hostels for males and females with mess serving hygienic food, 24 hours Wi- Fi, medical facilities. Land has been provided for future expansions and construction of academic buildings to accommodate the growth in number of enrolled students at SRMIET-Amabala. It has modern and well-equipped labs, computer labs, a big library, auditorium, gym, sports complex, transport facility (own vehicles), ATM, cafeteria and a shop on campus for groceries and essentials.

The faculty of Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering and Technology (SRMIET) is of mixed fame. Whereas some reviews commend them as helpful, knowledgeable and experienced, other reviews raise the issue of qualification, regularly changing staff, inexperience and not getting enough practical exposure. In order to get admissions into B.E. / B.Tech at Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering and Technology (SRMIET), a valid JEE Main score is the main requirement. HSTES (Haryana State Technical Education Society) is the most common mode of admission and you will enrol here online, complete your choices and be a part of a seat allotment rounds basing on your rank in JEE Main. The second option available to you is to go directly to the college through the Management Quota by approaching the admission office of the college and meeting their merit-criteria.

In the case of Shree Ram Mulkh Institute of Engineering and Technology, only a valid score at the LEET entrance examination (conducted by HSTES) and a Diploma in engineering are accepted to get into B.Tech courses in the Lateral Entry (LEET) stream. Although the exact ranks that SRMIET accepts every branch may not always be clearly announced it is influenced by the mark scored in LEET exam, available number of seats and the number of candidates during counselling at HSTES. General Haryana LEET cutoffs, one can find on the HSTES website.
