Eligibility for GNLU Silvassa requires that the candidates must have an LL.B. or equivalent with at least 50 percent marks, 45% in case of candidates of backward class/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe. Primary and mainly the good score acquired by a candidate in the PG CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) will also determine admission since GNLU chooses students according to ranking made by CLAT PG. The eligibility criteria to join the LL.M. programme offered at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Silvassa is an LL.B. or an equivalent degree with an aggregate of 50% marks in case of the general category applicants and 45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories. Admission will be made according to Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG score. Applicants must rank below the cutoff specified for the academic year. The tuition fees in Gujarat National Law University, Silvassa are reportedly on the higher side especially when compared with standard law courses offered at a public university in India. GNLU integrated law programs (like B.A./B.B.A. LL.B.) would go as high as about INR 2,44,400 in the first year. Gujarat National Law University, Silvassa cutoff for 2024 is available, in which cutoff rank is declared by the institute for different rounds and categories. As per the instance, in Round 1, the cut-off was approximately 869 for General and 1479 for EWS (Economically Weaker Section). Changes can be observed in further rounds due to seat availability and the number of candidates required in different categories. In this instance, cut-off touched 1060 in the fifth round. General: The cutoff rank was approximately rank 1,360
EWS: The rank for Economically Weaker Section, varied between 1,863 and 2,615.
OBC: Approximately 3,272 to 3,669
SC: Scheduled Caste - roughly 8,685 to 9,776
ST: The Scheduled Tribe, approximate rank was 13,276 and below.
