It is somewhat difficult to get accepted to SKR Engineering College in Chennai.  Students are admitted to the college via the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process, which is merit-based and takes into account the total scores earned in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in the 10+2 exam.  Higher scoring applicants are more likely to get admitted, particularly in well-known fields like computer Science and engineering.
