| M.A. | Candidate must have passed B.A degree with Home Science as a Compulsory subject or B.Sc Home Science Degree either 3 year programme or 4 year programme from any recognised university. |
| M.Com | Candidate must have passed B.Com. from any recognised University. |
| B.A. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board. |
| B.Com | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board. |
| B.Ed | Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/B.E/B.Tech with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with above mentioned marks from any reognised University/Institute. |
