The alumni of the Electrical and Electronics branch are already hired by Capgemini, CGI, Accenture, TCS, and IBM. To get an admission into Sri Venkateswara Engineering College for a B.E./B.Tech degree, you :
1. Have to a pass in and complete your 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
2. Take the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance exam (now called EAPCET) and get a competitive rank to enable admission.
3. Participate in Andhra Pradesh state-level counseling and select SVEC as one of your choices for allotment.

The B.E./B.Tech course fees in Sri Venkateswara Engineering College, Tirupati range from INR 1.67 Lacs to INR 1.71 Lacs for the whole course. (note: it's only the tuition fees). However, if we calculate the total fees including examination fees, infrastructure fees, and other Institutional fees, the estimate of the total fees comes to around INR 2.98 Lacs or simply approximately INR 74,500 a year. Our faculty members were very friendly and pleasant with us and encouraging about new ideas of students. Our faculty always did their best, and they are even very responsible and respectful with every student, even other department students. The course curriculum was relevant. The teaching is very useful here and very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. Mainly talking about department heads, they are very cheerful to students and they are spending much time regarding students academics.

One has to apply for a hostel, and it will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Rooms were two sharing with an individual cot and a study table. Rooms have good aeration and natural lighting. The meal quality was good compared to outside PGs, and the menu will be changed once per year. Fees may be high, but safety is pucca with 24*7 security. Near the college, there is an apartment that is the only nearby residence. generally range from INR 50,000 to INR 100,000 per year.
