To get an admission into Sri Venkateswara Engineering College for a B.E./B.Tech degree, you :
1. Have to a pass in and complete your 10+2 (Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
2. Take the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance exam (now called EAPCET) and get a competitive rank to enable admission.
3. Participate in Andhra Pradesh state-level counseling and select SVEC as one of your choices for allotment.
4. For the remaining seats, which are about 30% for management quota, the college will accept direct applications after APSCHE guidelines.
5. In addition, if you are a Diploma holder, you can also gain direct entry into the second year via the Andhra Pradesh ECET and lateral entry counseling.
