It provides you with a plethora of choices in the course selection. As such, the cut-off depends on the factors like number of applications, demand for the course and it might vary from year to year. Incase you wish for taking admission, you must know, enrolment is based on two streams. The first stream has 70% of total seats based on JEE Mains score  and normalised 10+2 marks. Whereas, the second stream has 30% of total seats based on normalised aggregate  marks secured in 12th Board exam.

Shanmugha Arts Science Technology & Research Academy enrols the BTech students in two separate streams- 1 and 2. 70% students are absorbed in stream-1, who have good scoring in JEE as well as 10+2 exam. While, 30% students are taken in stream-2, who are enrolled on the basis of marks obtained in their 12th standard examination. However, the marks percentage may change every year. Hence, checking the university website is the best option to seek.

The process followed for admission in BTech varies from college to college. If you are opting for enrolment in top B-colleges like IITs you must have a good scoring in the JEE and must go through a stringent admission process to secure a seat. Other emininet college also have similar procedure while they admit students, while some institutes still offer direct admission. Whatever the case, you have to check the websites of your desired college and act accordingly to their enrolment rules.
