Admission to the BSD COE of SSVPS is based on scores in the MHT CET which are set differently every year. If we look at 2024 results, the minimum percentile for Computer Engineering B.Tech was 74.68 and 57.33 for Mechanical Engineering.

MHT CET set different cutoffs for SSVPS's BSD COE depending on the engineering branch and category. In the Home State for the General category, the 2024 graduating percentiles were roughly as follows: Computer Engineering – 74.68, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering – 67.84, Mechanical Engineering – 57.33, Electronics Engineering – 55.88 and Civil Engineering – 55.23 .

All candidates interested in joining the BSD COE at SSVPS are required to appear in MHT CET as their first step. Candidates who have completed their examinations should register for the CAP on the State Common Entrance Test Cell website. While registering, candidates must complete personal and academic information, attach the necessary papers and pay the fee. Seat allotments in the various CAP rounds depend on what students scored in the MHT CET and the preferences they set. All candidates assigned seats have to confirm their admission.
