Summer Internship
At the end of the first year, students are required to undertake an Industry Internship project in order to correlate the theory that they have learnt to what is being followed in the real life corporate world. The summer internship programme encourages students to undertake research-based/ On the job projects for a period of 8-10 weeks, in order to gain practical experience. Students start interacting with corporate from October to firm up their decision on the area of specialization. A few corporate, basis the performance of the students offer jobs as pre-placement offers (PPO) and an opportunity to work with them after the second year of studies.

St. Joseph's offers a two year Full Time PGDM program. The program is AICTE approved. The institute has been offering the program since 1996.
The institute breaks the two year program into trimesters. Each trimester is approximately ten to twelve weeks long and the two-years have a total of six trimesters. Students post successful completion of three trimesters undertakes "on the job" internships with corporate. This internship is for a period of eight to nine weeks. The six trimesters and the internships together form the entire course structure for the two year PGDM program.
