Basically, maths is not needed for commerce stream to pursue mass communication.
So, you can leave maths if you want to do mass communication.

Hi Soumya,
St. Xavier's College being an autonomous college makes and checks their question paper in the college itself.
It is very much possible to score 10 SGPA provided you study that hard. Nothing is achieved easily. Work hard, achieve it.

Hi Sourav,
Your percentage is quite good and you can easily get admission in the college. As far as it is known the college does allow one year dropout students to take admission maybe through quota in that particular year. Hope the information helps you!

You actually need a full 100 marks in both economics and maths in your +2 examinations.
You also need to have an aggregate percent of more than 95%.

For BA, you can pursue anything in class 12th. There is no subject eligibility criteria for BA. But, I would suggest pursuing science, as it could later help you to pursue many other courses. You can take English and Hindi Literature in class 12th if you want. That could help but not much.
