To be honest, there are many things you've to keep in mind. If you're applying for St. Xavier's College, then you need to know the Eligibility criteria. If you had gone through previous Q&A regarding the subject you would have got your answer. Anyway, I must tell you that this is not a individual course. Journalism is an ancillary subject offered with few other courses like the BA Hons. courses; English, Bengali, Pol. Sc., Sociology and most importantly with BSc in Mass Communication & Videography.
If you want to study Journalism you can opt any of the above-mentioned courses.

Hi Devjit,
The eligibility criteria for BMS is pretty simple. As you have maths in your +2, you are eligible to apply. You need 60% in your aggregate which will be calculated with two compulsory subject's marks, English & Maths and marks of two other subjects. It will be out of 400.
No one actually can tell you the required percentage to get admission. There will be an admission test too. So, half of the aggregate percentage and half of the admission test score will be summed up and an index score will be calculated. On the basis of that, the final list of admission will be made. This course is a Bachelor's degree course and you can surely opt for it just after completing ISC.

Hi Karishma,
The eligibility criteria for BMS is clearly stating that one must have maths in +2 level to be eligible to apply for the course. So, unfortunately you can't apply. But there are other courses which you can opt. But if you really want to study BBA or BMS then look for institutions which offer the course without Maths. I long as I know that you will get it.

The minimum percentage is 60 in your +2 aggregate including PCM & Biology/Biotech.
