Students applying to Stanford in Fall 2025 will not require SAT or ACT scores. The university will review applications with or without standardized test scores, leaving the decision with the applicants. IF students do not submit SAT or ACT score, they will not be at a disadvantage. On the other hand, if the students feel these scores are a reflection of their achievements then they could do so. However, for Fall 2026, the university may require SAT or ACT score.

As of Autumn Quarter 2023, the total number of students enrolled at Stanford University is 17,000+. Out of this, 7,800+ are UG students and 9,600+ are PG students. Including all the study field, each year, around 500 Indians are enrolled at Stanford.

Stanford University's Graduate School of Business is quite difficult as its acceptance rate is between 6% - 7%. Even Forbes has listed that the Graduate School of Business acceptance rate is 6%. This indicates that the university's course of the School of Business are very selective. As such, the university has not mentioned the average GPA for MBA admission.

The acceptance rate of Stanford and California Institute of Technology is too low compared to the Georgia Institute of Technology which shows it is quite difficult to enter both universities than the latter.
