A few unofficial sources claim that the acceptance rate for MS in CS at BU is around 19%. This means that the university is very selective for the admission to MS in CS course. So, to get admission, students must have a strong background in Computer Science. Students with a CS Undergraduate degree can apply, but, the university welcomes those with equivalent computer training and experience. Application materials that are required to submitted are:

  • Two recommendation letters
  • Personal statement
  • Academic transcripts
  • Official GRE scores (Optional)
  • English language proficiency scores

As an Indian student, you would be be required to submit academic transcripts with good scores. Other than that you would have to submit good scores in SAT, ACT, GRE or GMAT. To send your application in for UG courses, use the Common App. For PG courses, you can do that from the university website. Documents that have to be submitted include academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, essays, financial documents, etc.
