In the QS World University Rankings 2025, North Carolina State University ranks better than the University at Buffalo. NC State ranks at #311, whereas, The University at Buffalo ranks at #466. According to Quacquarelli Symonds World University rankings, North Carolina State University ranking is #272 in 2026. In the previous year, this university ranked at #311 position. Considering the Quacquarelli Symonds ranking of this year, it CA be said that there is a decline in the university's ranking, but, it has still managed to maintain its position among the Top 400 Universities in the world. The highest score that NC State University has received in QS rankings is for international research network with 78.1.

The fall semester begins in September, winter in January, and summer in May. Courses and Universities differ for each intake. Fall intake in Canada is the most important of the three as almost all the courses and Universities are available in this intake.

The fall intake in Canada starts in September. In order to begin with the application process for this intake, start the process from April of the previous year.
- April – August (Previous Year): Research About the Universities and Courses
- May – September (Previous Year): Prepare for Standardized Tests and English Language Proficiency Exams
- October (Previous Year)– January (Current Year) : Fill out the Application Forms
