The creation of these rankings is done to know and evaluate the university's performance on the global stage and provide a comprehensive ranking report for the students to make an informed higher education decision.
For the year 2025, University of Bologna is ranked at 146 among the best universities in the world, the ranking improved by 11 spots as it was 155 in the year 2024, which is too an improvement from the year 2023.
