Australia and New Zealand are some of top study abroad destinations for international students. Both countries are home to several globally top ranking universities.
Although Australia has more number of universities that New Zealand, it is relatively cheaper to study in NZ than in Australia. And considering size and population of New Zealand the existing universities are enough. So, both the countries have their cons and pros, the best country for an international student should be the one that best suits their needs.

According to top-ranking publisher NYU ranks #30 in the National Universities in 2025 in US. In 2024, this university ranked at #30. This shows that the university's position improved in the US specific rankings in the year 2025. As per the Times Higher Education rankings for 2025, NYU ranks at #19 position in the U.S. for 2025.
