Westminster College can be considered a moderately competitive college. It has an acceptance rate of 70%. Students that get into Westminster have an average SAT score between 1150-1370 or an average ACT score of 23-29. Submitting standardized test scores is not mandatory, but having a good score can increase the chance of getting scholarships. International students are required to submit English proficiency test scores. Letters of recommendation are optional. It is not overly difficult to get admission.

Admission requirements for the University of Galway for international students are:
- UG: The applicants must have passed Class 12 (CBSE or CISCE or State Boards of Education) with 65% - 85%. The minimum percentage depends on Irish leaving Cert points
- PG: A bachelor's degree with 55% to 75% is required (Varies as per 2:2 equivalent, 2:1 equivalent, 1st equivalent)
