Yes, Indian students can study for free in Germany if they secure an admission in a public university. In Germany, all the public universities do not charge any tuition fee for both domestic and international students. Note that you will be required to pay a semester fee ranging between EUR 150 - EUR 300 (INR 13.7 K - 27.5 K) at the start of every academic year. Also, you will have to cover the living expenses, which sum up to about EUR 680 to EUR 1,230 (INR 62 K - 1 L) per month for Indians and international students.
