An average Indian student can join the Maryland Institute College of Arts. The acceptance rate of the institute is 80 % showing that it is quite less competitive to get into the college. The documents required to get into the institute are official transcripts, a resume, a statement of purpose, three (3) letters of reference, a portfolio of artwork, and a translation of documents by an agency like WES(If not issued in English).
The TOEFL score required to get into the institute is 80 out of 120 and the IELTS score required is 6.5 out of 9.
