No, you cannot extend your UK Graduate visa in any case. However, if you still need a legal work permit to continue working in the UK then you can apply for a skilled work visa or any other relevant work visa. You would need a registered employer to sponsor you for a skilled worker visa.

The Home Office UK has increased the minimum maintenance fund required for students to survive in the UK as they study. This is given here below👇

  • £1,529 per month (for up to 9 months) for a course in London. This is equivalent to INR 1.89 L as per the exchange rate: 1£ = INR 124.21
  • £1,171 per month (for up to 9 months) for a course outside London. This amount stands equal to INR 1.45 L as per the above exchange rate.

  • A valid passport
  • Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
  • Proof of finances
  • Parent/ guardian consent if you are less than 18 years of age
  • Tuberculosis test results

Your educational institute will send you a reference number called a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) once they admitted you for the course. Candidates need to enter this number on their visa application.

If you are a national from the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you do need a visa to pursue your higher education in the UK. Students from all other nationalities need to have a valid UK student visa to study in the UK.
