To be eligible for MS in Business Analytics of UCSD, the applicants must have the following:

• An UG degree in a Quantitative discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science OR
• Relevant work experience, a strong quantitative foundation, a curiosity about data and how it can solve business problems, and familiarity with the use of Quantitative information in the workplace

Students with a non-quantitative undergraduate degree and less than 5 years of work experience shall be considered on an exceptional basis, if:

• Their work experience is in Business Analytics or Marketing Research area OR
• They have developed a strong sense of quantitative background via additional coursework or relevant work experience

It totally depends upon the candidate's acadmic strengths and weaknesses that which one would be easier for them . If the candidates prefers to go for less geometrical problems, then GMAT would be a wiser choice as the former has less geometrical problems than GRE. however, if the candidates prefers to go for less quantitatively tricky section then , GRE should be their target examination. The verbal and writing sections would be hard nuts in GRE examination than in GMAT Examination. 

All these factors should be enough for you to decide that which one is easier for you to appear in . Both the examinations are widely accepted by almost all known and prestigious universities. 

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination. It is an entrance examination for students wanting to continue their masters is buisness management or any other graduate buisness programs. 

scores of this examination is accepted widely. Candidates from all educational backgrounds are eligible to give this examination. 

Universities like Harvard University,University of Pennsylvania,Massachusetts Institute of Technology,University of California, Berkeley.Yale University,New York University ,Northwestern University along with many other reputed Indian and international universities accept GRE examination scores for admission.

time duration for this examination is three hours and forty five minutes. Followed by a break of ten minutes after third section.

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System . It is an entrance examination for candidates with proficiency in English Language. This examination score is accepted by various reputed international employers, universities and colleges. 

The examination primarily focuses on four sections- Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. 

There is no minimum age criteria for candidates to appear in this examination, however, it is advised for candidates of 16 and above to appear in the examination. 

This exam is conducted for two hours and 45 minutes. 

The results of this examination are valid till two years and three years if used for applying in migration.
