Admission to SSVAP's BA programme is based on performance and merit in the Creative Visualization & Personal Interaction (CVPI) round. Candidates must first confirm that they meet the requirements before submitting an online application. After the exam, shortlisted candidates are invited to the CVPI, and final admission is confirmed by SIU's verification.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent test from an approved board in order to be eligible for the BA in Visual Arts & Photography program. Selection is made on the basis of merit; there is no set minimum percentage criterion. For ultimate acceptance, candidates also need to take part in the Creative Visualization & Personal Interaction (CVPI) phase.

SSVAP offers a three-year, full-time undergraduate BA in Visual Arts & Photography degree. It is intended to offer practical instruction and artistic discovery in the visual arts and photography. Through knowledgeable instructors and hands-on learning opportunities, students acquire skills that are relevant to the industry.
