Yes. A candidate can apply for both Paper 1 and 2. While applying online and if an aspirant want to apply for both the papers they have to pay the fee combined and have to select an option of both papers.

No, PhD students aren't exempt from UGC-NET or CSIR-NET. To get admission in a PhD course, UGC is requesting institutions to integrate NET scores.

Hi Sumati, yes, you are eligible to appear for both Paper I and Paper II of the CTET exam after completing B.Ed. For Paper I (Classes 1–5), you'll need to do a 6-month Bridge Course later if selected. For Paper II (Classes 6–8), you're fully eligible without any extra requirement.

The usual stipend is 8,000 rupees per month under the UGC Non-NET Fellowship. Some universities may offer a bit more through their own internal fellowships, but it depends on the institution and available funding. Private or research-focused universities sometimes provide higher stipends, but that's not very common. So, unless you're funded through a project or internal scheme, INR 8,000/month is the standard.

Yes you can also apply the NET (National Eligibility Test) whatever the difficulty you are giving your 1 st year PG in June. They can apply under the UGC NET eligibility criteria even when they are in their final year of a Master degree or when they are awaiting results. But to get officially eligible to JRF/Assistant Professor on the basis of having passed the NET, you have to successfully take your Master degree with required percentage (55% in general and depending on the reservation which are 50%) within two years starting of the day the NET result is declared. Failure to abide, will translate to disqualification.

Yes you can. The students who are in their final year can apply for National Eligibility Test. However, such candidates will be considered eligible for the award of assistant professor eligibility only after they pass the Masters degree final year exam.
