The reasons behind the dialogue box saying the invalid login while checking the WBTET result are mentioned below:
- Incorrect Username/ Registration/Password: It is might possible that candidate is filling out the registration number or the password for the WBTET exam is wrong/incorrect. The WBTET result is calculated on the basis of the provisional and final answer key. Initially, the candidates are given the opportunity to raise objections against the WBTET provisional answer key. After the scrutiny of these objections by the expert panel, the final answer key is released. Following the final answer key, the WBTET result is released.

The candidates are not allowed to raise grievances if they are not satisfied with their WBTET result. However, the candidates will be given option to raise objections against the WBTET provisional answer key. For the candidates who are not satified with the final result, they have to take the WBTET exam to increase their score.

The WB TET result is released based on the final answer key. The result is generally declared within one or two months of the conduct of the exam. The qualified candidates are awarded the WB TET certificate. The candidates can check the result by following the steps given below:
- Go to the official website
- Click on the WBTET tab
- Click on the results tab
- Fillout the details
- Click on submit
- WBTET result will appear on the screen
- Download the result and save it for later use

The final WB TET answer key is released after the WBBPE analyses the comments submitted by the candidates. The final answer key is released after the scrutiny of the objections raised by the candidates against the released answer key. The scrutiny is done by the panel made by the WBBPE. The candidates have to submit their objections to the board through offline mode. The objections have to be sent to the board's drop box with valid proof.

The WBTET certificate is now valid forever. Ramesh Pokhariyal, Indian Education Minister has announced that the validity of the TET certificate is extended for a lifetime. Earlier the validity of the certificates was 7 years. They can apply for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh schools at any point in time till they fulfil the eligibility criteria fixed by the respective recruiting agency.
