The ranks in the TSEdCET exam are assigned based on the total marks obtained by candidates out of 150 marks. In case there is a tie between two or more candidates, the preference will be given to the marks scored by candidate in Teaching Aptitude and then General Knowledge.

If the tie persists, the candidate (older by age) will be given a better rank. These ranks determine seat allotment during counselling, so even a single mark can make a significant difference.

Candidates must carry the following documents to the TSEdCET exam centre:

  • Printed copy of the TSEdCET Admit Card
  • Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID)
  • Passport-size photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application)

Without these, they will not be persmitted to enter the exam hall. It is also advisable to carry a copy of the application form printout and arrive at the centre well before reporting time. Ensure the photo and signature on the ID match those on the admit card.

Yes, the exam body provides the provision for candidates to make corrections into their already submitted application form. During correction window, candidates will be able to edit certain fields such as - address,  qualifying exam details, or photo/signature uploads.

However, key details like mobile number, category, and subject choice may not be editable, so they must be entered carefully during registration.

Admission to any course at Avanthi's Scientific Technological and Research Academy is not based on the scores obtained in the MAT exam. To be eligible for lateral entry admission to BTech course at the college, the candidate must have completed a Diploma/ Bachelor's in a relevant stream from a recognized University. Although cutoff marks in the exam are not mandatory but the candidates having a valid score in the exam are given higher preference.

Hyderabad (Sindh) National Collegiate University provides admissions to students based upon the merit system. As such, there is no proper prescribed cutoff for the Bachelor of Education (BEd) course at HSNCU. Students, in order to be eligible, must qualify their Higher Secondary/10+2 examination and achieve desirable scoring to satisfy the merit requirements of the university for BEd admissions.
