There is no qualifying marks criterion in the UP TGT PGT exam. Candidates need to obtain the UP TGT PGT cut off marks to get into the merit list. The UP PGT TGT cut off is released by the UPSESSB along with the results. The cutoff marks are decided based on the following factors: difficulty level of the exam, number of vacancies, number of applicants, previous years cut off marks, etc.

Yes, as per the exam pattern of the RIE CEE there is a negative marking in the exam. For each wrong question attempted by candidate, 0.5 marks will b deducted. Therefore students must be double assure before attempting the question and blind guess will not help there. They must be confident while selecting the right option and use elimination techniques for uncertain ones. The best way to ensure they make the correct guesses is by practicing previous years' papers in abundace during the revision process. This will also help them manage their time well and maintain accuracy.

The exam conducting body NCERT prescribes the exam pattern syllabus of RIE CEE 2025. As per the exam pattern, the test will be conducted in offline mode OMR sheets. The total marks will be 160, and the time duration of the exam will be2 hours. There will be 80 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections:
- Teaching Aptitude (30 questions)
- Reasoning Ability (30 questions)
- Language Proficiency (20 questions)
For each correct answer attempted by candidate they will be awarded 2 marks, while 0.5 marks will be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer.

As per the dates for the RIE CEE 2025 the notification was released on May 29, 2025. The online registration and application window were open till June 17, 2025, extended to June 20 from June 19, 2025, followed by the hall tickets which will be released around 7 days before the exam. The RIE CEE entrance exam was conducted on June 29, 2025. Post the exam is conducted the authorities will declare the results by early August, followed by the counselling and admission processes.

Yes, candidates can apply to more than one RIE using a single RIE CEE score, provided they meet their eligibility criteria and have choose these centres while filling in their application form. During the counselling process, candidates can list multiple RIEs, and based on the merit list, seat allotment is made. It's wise to apply to more than one institute to increase your admission chances. However, the final allotment depends on your rank, availability of seats, and preference order.

The RIE CEE scores are accepted by five Regional Institutes of Education —RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru, and RIE Shillong. These institutes are governed by NCERT and offer high-quality teacher education programs. Candidates qualifiyng in the exam will be able to take admission in these centres for the courses - B.Ed, M.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, and B.A B.Ed integrated programs. No, the NCERT tries to allot the nearest centre based on the candidate's choice as they filled in the application. The RIE CEE exam centre once selected and submitted in the application form cannot be changed later.
