TS EdCET 2025: The Telangana Council of Higher Education, which is the exam body of TSEdCET, has released the TG EdCET 2025 application form and is currently accepting registrations. The TSEdCET 2025 application form submission link was activated on March 12, 2025, and will end on May 13, 2025. However, students can also apply by paying a late fee till May 24, 2025. The TG EdCET 2025 exam will be conducted on June 1, 2025. This year the test will be conducted by the Kakatiya University, on behalf of TCHE. To register for the TGEdCET exam, candidates will have to visit the official website - https://edcet.tgche.ac.in/TGEDCET/EDCET_ApplicationForm.aspx. Those who successfully submit the application form will be issued the TSEdCET hall ticket 2025 to appear in the exam. TS EdCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

To fulfil TSEdCET 2025 eligibility criteria candidates should meet the below-mentioned requirements:

Nationality/locality 

  • All candidates applying for the TSEdCET exam should be Indian nationals
  • All candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974

Age limit

  • Candidates should be a minimum of 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which TSEdCET notification is out
  • There is no maximum age limit required to appear for the TSEdCET exam

Educational Qualification

  • All candidates should clear their graduation in BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BBM or post-graduation in the relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other equivalent qualification with at least 50 percent aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ BC (A/B/C/D/E)/ PH category minimum mark required in the qualifying exam is 40 percent.
  • Candidates securing a minimum of 55% marks in BE/ BTech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply
  • Candidates who have cleared MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BL/ LLB/ BA (Languages)/ BOL and any other such professional course are not eligible for BEd admissions via TSEdCET

The admission process through the TS EdCET 2025 exam includes the following steps:

  • TS EdCET application form: For TS EdCET 2025 registrations, candidates must fill out the application form in online mode on the official website of the exam. The TSEdCET 2025 application fee of INR 650 also needs to be paid in online mode.  
  • TS EdCET admit card: After the application forms are filled and submitted successfully, candidates will have to download their TSEdCET 2025 admit card from the official website of the exam. Candidates must download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth on the TSEdCET website.
  • TS EdCET exam: Next, candidates will have to appear in the B.Ed entrance exam at the allotted TSEdCET 2025 exam centre. The TSEdCET 2025 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions of 150 marks which candidates will have to complete within two hours.

  • TS EdCET resultTSEdCET 2025 result will be declared on the official website of the exam. Candidates scoring at least 25 per cent marks (that is, 38 marks) will be termed qualified for the education common entrance test.   • TS EdCET rank card: A separate rank list was prepared for each methodology wherein candidates were ranked based on marks they secured in the exam. Candidates could download their TSEdCET 2025 rank card from the official website of the exam.
  • TS EdCET counselling: Lastly, candidates had to appear for a web-based TSEdCET 2025 counselling session. Here, candidates were allotted seats at the Colleges of Education in Telangana State in their respective methodologies according to their rank.
