The category wise qualifying score for candidates appearing in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are as follows: 

• SC/ST Category - Fifty Five Percent i.e. 82 marks out of 150 marks. 

• OBC Category - Fifty Five Percent i.e. 82 marks out of 150 marks. 

• General Category - Sixty Percent i.e. 92 marks out of 150 marks.

Typically yes, the qualifying score for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is same for every year. However, it solely depends upon the examination conducting body, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to whether keep it the same or change it according to the number of candidates and difficulty of question paper.

Candidates belonging to OBC category must score at least 55 percent i.e. 82 out of 150 marks to qualify the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination. The minimum cutoff is important to be deemed as pass in the examination.

CTET is an acronym used for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and is conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers include a total of 150 MCQs. The first paper consists of questions from the following subjects: Child Development and Pedaogaoy, Language-1 (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The questions in Paper 2 include (four sections) Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Sciences/Social Studies. The maximum number a student can get in Paper 1 is 150.

Yes, candidates appearing for CTET can choose the same language for-I and language II. Students have the right to choose the same language for language-I and Language II. They can choose different languages according to their proficiency. Students must check the information on the official website for the most up-to-date information. CTET is conducted to select teachers for Classes I to 8th in central government schools.

To be eligible for the BEd Course, you need a minimum of 50%. But, to the SC/ST category, then 45 percent is needed. As a BTech/BE candidate, 55% marks are required.

To be eligible for the B.Ed course there are various eligibility criterion which candidates need to meet. Some of them include a minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation as a requisite for admission in to UP BEd JEE. A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the postgraduate level is mandatory for admission into colleges for the B.Ed colleges.

According to the latest notice by Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (CTET), the passing score for SC and ST category is 55 Percent. The candidates must score at least 82 marks out of 150 marks to qualify in  the examination.
