According to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to a B.Ed. programme is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

Candidates must complete BEd or BA BEd / BSc BEd (Four Year Integrated Course) or BElEd (Bachelor of Elementary Education) or DElEd (Diploma of Elementary Education) with at least 50% aggregate to apply for KJ Somaiya School of Education M.Ed programme. Aspirants must also qualify PERA CET M.Ed, CUET-PG or MAH CET to get admission in M.Ed course.  

Final admission to B.Ed programme is based on an entrance exam conducted by Kumaun University.

The total fee of the Integrated B.Ed & MEd programme is INR 1,75,926.

You can still apply for the UGC NET Exam if the final exam results for your Masters degree are awaited. However, you will be only considered for the award of JRF and Lectureship when you pass the master’s degree with the required percentage within 2 years of UGC NET Result declaration. Otherwise, you will be exempted from it.

To be eligible for B.Ed programme offered at Krishna University, a candidate needs to pass a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities from a recognised institute/ university.

To apply to EFLU Hyderabad B.Ed programme, UG degree in relevant stream with minimum of 50% aggregate. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ Differently-abled category candidates. Besides, aspirants also need to qualify CUET-PG for admission to B.Ed programme. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.
