The University of Liverpool allows Indian students to defer admission to the next available intake for one academic year.
Look at the deadlines given below -
- Indian students can defer their studies only once. If you want to request a second consecutive year, a new application should be submitted.
- Deferal requests are typically accepted up until Oct 31, 2026
- The paid deposit can be carried for one year only.

The Complete Guide is one of the most well known ranking body used by many UK and international students. As per the Complete Guide rankings 2026, the University of Liverpool is ranked #23.
A decline can be observed here from its last year ranking of #18 in 2025.

Yes, the more competitive programs like Computer Science, Medicine or Management may have a tougher application process. These are additional criteria that are beyond the general admission criteria.

Stuart Bennett, better known by his in-ring name Wade Barrett pursued his studies at the Liverpool University. Bennett graduated with a degree in Marine Biology.
He then worked in a Science lab and as a recruitment consultant while training to become a wrestler. He made his main-roster WWE debut in 2010.
