Yes, on-campus housing is guaranteed for Indian students at the Liverpool Uni, provided they meet the conditions below:

  • Are an UG student
  • Chose Liverpool Uni as your first choice
  • Accepted either an Unconditional Firm offer (UF) or a Conditional Firm offer (CF), or you are a PG student holding an offer
  • Apply for housing before July 31

Note - The accommodation gurantee only applies to students entering the Sept intake. The university helps find suitable housing for students entering the Jan intake, but does not guranteed on-campus housing.

Uni of Liverpool in Bengaluru is ideal if you want a UK Russell Group degree for lower tuition costs. However, if the plan is to gain a true international experience and stay and work in the UK for 2-3 years after studies, then the UK campus is a better choice.

The University of Liverpool admissions are competitive for Indian students with an acceptance rate of 14-24%. So, if there are two or more students with similar marks,  Liverpool University will consider the aspects other than the applicant's scores.

The University of Liverpool allows Indian students to defer admission to the next available intake for one academic year.

Look at the deadlines given below - 

  • Indian students can defer their studies only once. If you want to request a second consecutive year, a new application should be submitted
  • Deferal requests are typically accepted up until Oct 31, 2026
  • The paid deposit can be carried for one year only.

Yes, the University of Liverpool is ranked by the Shanghai rankings in 2025

As per the same, the university is ranked at #101,  which has been consistent since the year 2023.

Along with the university rankings, the Liverpool University courses like -

Yes, the University of Liverpool courses are ranked under many ranking bodies of the world like the Complete University Guide, QS and the Guardian

The Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering bag the rank of #8 in the year 2026. It is an improvement from last year ranking for this course. Look at the other course rankings by the CUG given below -

  • Biological Science (#27)
  • Communication and Media Studies (#11)
  • Computer Science (#28)

The Complete Guide is one of the most well known ranking body used by many UK and international students. As per the Complete Guide rankings 2026, the University of Liverpool is ranked #23.

A decline can be observed here from its last year ranking of #18 in 2025.
