MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
45% marks for BC categories.
Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible.
Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 4011. In 2023, it decreased to 3701. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1432 to 1428 for OBC, 834 to 875 for SC, 399 to 307 for ST, 537 to 643 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 3445 and closing rank was 3701. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 929 and 6016. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Tirupati cutoff 2023 was 3701 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 6016 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Tirupati admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.
