Admission to IIT Tirupati is offered based on merit and entrance. The Institute offers a final admission based on valid scores of accepted entrance exams. IIT Tirupati offers courses such as BTech, MTech, MSc, and MPP in full-time mode. Admission to the aforementioned is offered based on valid scores of accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT-JAM, and others. Furthermore, for courses such as BTech, candidates must qualify JoSAA counselling. 

In 2025, the IIT Palakkad CSE cutoff was relatively less competitive for admission as compared to that of IIT Tirupati and IIT Goa for students belonging to the General AI quota. The CSE cutoff ranged between 4620 and 5034 for IIT Tirupati, while for IIT Goa, it ranged from 5626 to 6242. For IIT Palakkad, the cutoff ranks were between 5736 and 6454 for CSE admission in the General category. 

IISET Tirupati placement 2025 details are not out yet. It will be updated once it is released. However, according to the Indian Institute of Science Education & Research placement 2023 details, the college has offered a maximum package of INR 75 LPA. Apart from this, the college has a placement cell that operates throughout the year to facilitate networking between companies and graduates.
