The application process for admissions to the MBU Tirupati has started for various courses. Students just have to go to the official website and apply there. The mode of application is online and students also have to pay an application fee.

IIT Tirupati considers national-level entrance exam scores for admission. The institute offers admission via JEE Advanced in BTech. IIT JAM and GATE scores are considered for MSc and M.Tech programmes, respectively. The institute conducts written test for admission to MPP, PhD and MS in Research programmes.

In 2025, for CSE admission, the last round cutoff ranks varied between 4620 and 5034 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
