If you're not able to receive OTP while applying at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current netword settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id or phone no.

SVU Barrackpore's BTech seat intake for 2026 is currently unknown. Last year, BTech CSE course had the highest seat intake of any BTech course at SVU Barrackpore. Thus, this is the flagship BTech course of the institute, candidates can expect it have the highest seat intake this year as well.

There is no mention of any provisions regarding admission to candidates who are yet to receive their Class 12 board exam results. Generally this is not an issue since BTech admissions are opened after results are out.
Candidates are allowed to appear for accepted entrance exam WBJEE without their Class 12 board exam results. However, they are advised to raise this query with admission desk for confirmation.

Candidates will be required to provide copies of following documents during application stage of SVU Barrackpore BTech admission:
- Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
- ID and address proof
- Transfer / Migration certificate

Certificate admission at Department of Library and Information Science, SVU Mumbai, is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria set by the department. The criteria differs for the two Certificate courses offered by the department. The minimum eligibility criteria for these courses, as per the department's official website, arre presented in the table below:

The total PG Diploma fee at Department of Library and Information Science is INR 10,000 for Indian candidates. The PG Diploma fee for NRI candidates is INR 18,000. This includes the tuition fees, exam fees, laboratory fees, and other fees. The full fee must be paid at admission.
