Tisch School of the Arts

Located in the heart of New York, the students of NYU Tisch School of the Arts enjoy the location of the school as it is situated within the close proximity to very famous places such as Times Square, great restaurants, clubs, and pubs.

The students can also be a part of the hundreds of students led clubs and organisations. Tisch has a graduate and undergraduate student council. These student councils oversee clubs, create programming, co-sponsor events, and sever as the students' voice to the administration, faculty, and university senate. The school hosts two students' organisations Tisch Undergraduate student council (TUSC) and graduate student organisation (GSO).

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television, a programme offered by NYU Tisch School of the Arts is ranked at #43 by World University QS, and #27 by THE (Times Higher Education), and #31 by Universities ARWU (Shanghai Rankings) in 2025. NYU Tisch is also named Top Film School of 2024. According to NYU admission details 2023, over 120,000 applications were submitted, out of which only 9,600 students were rolled out an offer letter which makes this school highly selective.

There are 17 Emmy winners, 12 Tony winners, 22 Oscar winners, and 4 Grammy winners among the Tisch alumni and faculty.
