In its official notification, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission specifies the sections. The TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam is divided into two papers: General Tamil/General English, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (90 points) and General Studies (300 points). The Mains exam consists of Paper I, which has a detailed syllabus covering Tamil Language Test (Descriptive Type) for 100 marks, and Paper II, which has 300 marks and covers topics such as the role of Science and technology in India's development, administration of unions and states with a focus on Tamil Nadu, socioeconomic issues, and current national and state-level issues.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is anticipated to issue the official notification on its website. The Commission makes no reference of the topic's weightage in its official notification. The Commission simply mentions the titles of the topics in its official notification. Sometimes the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus pdf is released separately from the notice. The TNPSC Group 2 announcement is likely to be posted soon on the organization's official website. The TNPSC Group 2 curriculum will be released along with the formal announcement.

The TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus covers the Historical topics as History is an important part of the General Studies section of the TNPSC Group 4 syllabus. There are diverse topics from the History and Culture of India and Tamil Nadu, the Indian National Movement to other historical events. The Commission can ask the questions from any section of History syllabus.

Students must take the time to thoroughly study this historical material so as to have a good chance of success with the TNPSC Group 4 exam.

The candidates should read and understand the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus first and allot the time based on the affinity of the candidate to the subject. Every candidate has an affinity and interest in certain subjects. They can allot less time to them because they will be able to prepare their interest area soon. 

The Commission does not mention the weightage of any of the topics in the official syllabus. The Commission can ask any number of questions on any topic. The candidates can analyse the previous year's question papers to know the subject-wise breakup of the questions.

The candidates can download the TNPSC Group 2 Syllabus PDF here. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus with the official notification. The candidates can also copy and paste the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus from the official notification pdf. The TNPSC Group 2 syllabus pdf will be the ready reckoner for the candidates they can refer to.
TNPSC Group 2 notification is expected to be released soon on tnpsc.gov.in.

The Commission is expected to release the TNPSC Group 2 notification and along with it the syllabus, exam pattern and vacancies for the candidates.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission releases the official notification on its official website. The Commission release the syllabus with the official notification. The Commission change the syllabus on the directions of the State government only.
