TNPSC Exam Eligibility

The candidate must be a graduate from a recognised university/institution. Besides that, the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and should not exceed the age of 32 years. The Commission provides the relaxation in upper age limit to the candidates belonging to the reserved category. 

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission mention the TNPSC Group 2 eligibility criteria in the official notification only. The canddiates are suggested to read and understand the eligibility criteria before filling the application.

For some posts like Steno-Typist and Typist, the candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting. The Commission mention the type of certification required with the post in the official notification. The candidates are required to upload all the documents in support of the claims made in the TNPSC Group 4 application. The candidates are required to upload their certificates in support of

• Educational Qualification
• Technical Qualification
• Community
• Gender
• PSTM
• Experience etc.

Village Administrative Officer is one of the most popular posts in the TNPSC Group 4 exam. The Eligibility conditions for the Village Administrative Officer are as follows

• Minimum Age Limit: 21 years
• Maximum Age limit: 32 years depending on their category.

Education Qualification: The candidates must have passed the SSLC Examination with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Course. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission can change the TNPSC Eligibility for the VAO anytime. TNPSC Group 4 notification is expected to be released soon.

There is no such reference of nationality in the official TNPSC Group 4 Notification. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission does not mention the nationality criteria in the official notification. It can be implied that any Indian can apply for the exam who fulfils the eligibiltiy conditions.  TNPSC Group 4 Notification is expected to be released soon. The candidates are suggested to refer to the official notification to get the latest information.

In addition to the eligibility conditions, the candidates must know Tamil Language in order to clear the exam.
