As per the UGC Norms, the graduate candidate are eligible for CSIR NET JRF only and they have to complete the post graduation, within two years. If you want to apply for NET Lectureship for assistant professor, you must have completed the master;s degree first.
The CSIR NET exam is held for five subjects- physical, mathematical, earth, life and chemical Science.
