To start the preparation of any exam, the first thing you need to do is to get the detailed information about the required syllabus and exam pattern. The next thing after having complete information about the exam is collecting the quality study material. This test is only for UGC NET CSIR NET and IIT JAM aspirants. Once you get the required study material, then manage a perfect routine for study. You are suggested to study at least 5-6 hrs in a day. Cover the syllabus of Paper 1 and Paper 2 simultaneously. Hi Reema, As per the latest updates at official websites, the NTA has postponed the last date to apply for the CSIR NET and UGC NET both exams. There is no notification released for change in the exam date. The NTA has decided to conduct the CSIR NET exam on 21st June and UGC NET exam form 15 to 20th June. If there is any update to extend the exam date they will released the same on official website. Therefor you are advised to be updated for the latest CSIR NET Notification at https://scoop.eduncle.com/csir-ugc-net-exam-date-notification or official website so that you do not miss any notification for exam dates. The NTA has extended the last to apply for both exams till 31 May 2020. If you did not apply yet, do not miss this chance and fill the online application form as soon as possible before end of 31 May. All the best for the exam. !

Hi Mobisha, Yes, you are eligible to apply for CSIR NET exam, but you will be eligible for JRF only. As per the UGC Norms, the graduate candidate are eligible for CSIR NET JRF only and they have to complete the post graduation, within two years. If you want to apply for NET Lectureship for assistant professor, you must have completed the master;s degree first.
The CSIR NET exam is held for five subjects- physical, mathematical, earth, life and chemical Science. And candidates are allowed to apply for their master's subject, You should apply for CSIR NET chemical Science or life Science subject, Please refer official notification for detailed information.
