According to NTA norms, aspirant who have Masters degree or enrolled in the post graduation degree, they are eligible to take the UGC NET exam. But make sure you fulfill all the basic requirements of National Eligibility Test. Candidates who are willing to appear in Upcoming UGC NET exam should be well aware with the eligibilities and the latest notifications of the exam. As per the NET exam eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For OBC/ST/SC/PwD) marks from a government recognised institute. As you have in final year then you have to score minimum educational percentage. To appear for Junior Research Fellowship, you have to fulfill age criteria also I. e. your age must not be exceeded than 30 years (For General). Reserved categories candidates get the relaxation of 5 years. The National Testing Agency will start the UGC NET Apply Online process for June 2020 session from 16th March 2020. The UGC NET Result for Dec Exam 2019 will be declared on 31st December 2019. The result will be declared on the official website of UGC. You can check the step by step procedure to check your UGC NET Result below:
Visit the official website. Click on UGC NET Result 2019 link. Enter all your required details. Click on the Submit Button. Now, you will be able to see your Result for UGC NET 2019 on the screen. Hello Deepika, The cutoff marks for each section is different and can not be sure about it. We can just have a brief idea about the cutoff through the previous year marks. The UGC NET exam was held from 2 to 6 Dec in two shifts. The final cut off marks depends on the various factors like number of candidates appeared in the exam, level of difficulty, attempts in the exam and final cut off marks etc. The cut off marks for the previous year Education subject paper was 58% for JRF & Assistant and 49% for only assistant. You might get selected for only assistant if the final cut off goes not so high.
